Rodney Reed

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Rodney Reed is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer of NOV. Since joining NOV in 2014, Rodney has held several leadership roles, including President of NOV Process Flow Technologies, President of NOV Completion Tools, Vice President of Corporate Development, and Vice President of Internal Audit. Prior to NOV, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Rodney earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Louisiana State University, where he was a two-time First-Team Academic All-American.

Scott Livingston

President, Energy Products and Services

Scott Livingston serves as the President of the Energy Products and Services segment of NOV. Scott joined NOV in 2001, garnering increasing levels of management responsibilities for global projects and operations, first focused on the offshore energy market. From 2018 – 2023, Scott served as the President of the Intervention and Stimulation business unit. From 2012 to 2018, Scott served in various senior management roles, leading various aspects of the Company’s onshore and offshore global businesses, production operations, and engineering. From 2006 to 2012, he worked in Singapore as VP of Installation and Commissioning for NOV's projects with newly constructed deep-water rigs during the height of the global offshore build-cycle. Prior to joining NOV, Scott served eight years as an officer in the US Air Force, involved in maintenance, logistics, and program management for new aircraft weapons systems. He graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and obtained a master’s of logistics management from Georgia College while in the military.

Mike Loucaides

Chief Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Officer

Mike Loucaides began his career in NOV’s Distribution Services business unit in Brisbane, Australia 26 years ago as a Pump Systems Engineer. Since then, he has held positions of increased responsibility internationally, managing Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality and HSE. In 2011, he transferred to our Rig Technologies segment and most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Quality, HSE and Supply Chain before taking on the role of Chief HSSE Officer in January 2022.

Mike graduated from London University with a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering. He was born in Australia, and has lived and worked in Australia, Indonesia, the UK and the US.

Christy Novak

Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President & Corporate Controller

Christy Novak has been the Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller of NOV since November 2021. Previously, Ms. Novak served as NOV’s Vice President of Accounting Systems, where she led efforts to design, implement, rationalize, and improve efficiencies of NOV’s accounting systems and processes. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Finance for the Company’s Rig Technologies operating segment. During her 16 years with NOV, Ms. Novak has advanced through several positions of increasing responsibility and successfully led initiatives to strengthen and streamline accounting functions. Prior to joining NOV, she spent nearly 10 years in public accounting with Ernst & Young where she served various audit clients in the manufacturing and energy industries. Ms. Novak graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Bonnie Houston

Chief Administrative Officer

Bonnie Houston is Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, she is responsible for the Company’s human resources, organizational development, physical security and travel functions. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President Human Resources and Administration. Bonnie joined NOV in 2005 as part of the Next Generation Program, and has since held various roles in HR, most recently serving as Director of Organizational Development. Bonnie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University and her Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

Jose Bayardo

Chairman, President, and CEO

Jose Bayardo is Chairman, President, and CEO of NOV. Previously, he served as NOV’s Chief Operating Officer as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining NOV in 2015, Jose served as Senior Vice President, Resource and Business Development at Continental Resources, Inc. and spent nine years serving in various roles at Complete Production Services, Inc. including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Complete Production Services, Jose was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Alex Philips

Chief Information Officer

Alex Philips is the Chief Information Officer of NOV. In this position, Alex is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Information Technologies, Systems, Applications and Security to further our strategic goals. Alex joined Phoenix Energy Services, now a part of NOV, in 1997 as an IT Network Administrator. During Alex’s 25-year tenure at NOV, he has served in various roles including IT Infrastructure Manager, ERP Director and, most recently, Chief Information Security Officer. Alex is a graduate of Rice University with a Master of Business Administration.

Joe Rovig

President, Energy Equipment

Joe Rovig is the President of the Energy Equipment segment of NOV. Joe joined NOV in 2002. He has served as Group Vice President of Global Operations, Vice President of the Eastern Hemisphere, Director of Service and Repair and Senior Vice President of the Offshore Drilling Equipment group within NOV’s Rig Solutions division. Prior to joining NOV, he worked for two drilling contractors in various positions, both domestically and internationally. His internationally-based positions cover twenty years of experience with multiple locations in Asia and Europe.

Craig L. Weinstock

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Craig Weinstock joined NOV in October 2013 and currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He previously served as Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Internal Audit. Before joining NOV, he was a partner in the Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP law firm and clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Robert Parker. Craig brings significant experience and expertise to NOV in the areas of compliance and representing Boards of Directors, Audit Committees, individual directors, and corporate officers. Craig counseled Boards of Directors, Audit Committees and management for oilfield services companies and E&P companies regarding securities, governance, anti-corruption, trade compliance and other matters. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal and state trial court and has prosecuted and defended numerous cases involving complex securities and derivative issues. Craig obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980 and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1983.

David Reid

Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer

David Reid is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for NOV, where he develops the global technology and marketing strategy engine for the corporation. David joined Varco International in 1992 and has lived in Scotland, California, and Houston, covering global roles in products and business units for repair, service, operations, design, invention, management, strategy, and leadership. David has been a core pioneer of modern drilling equipment, drilling automation, and oilfield digitization. He was a key player in pioneering the customization of innovative drilling rig design in the late 1990s, as well as the efficient standardization of drilling rigs in the 2000s. He is also a founding member of the SPE Drilling Systems Technical Section and the IADC Advanced Rig Technology Committee, and regularly serves many organizations and societies as a public speaker and panelist about business, technology, and leadership. He serves on a number of boards including the NOV and Schlumberger IntelliServ joint venture, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and, in his own time, Redeemed, a program for survivors of sex trafficking. David is also the founder of RedM, a movement of everyday professionals committed to raising awareness, providing support, and advocating for change to end human trafficking.
